I have recently purchased a 1987 Japan model Familia GT Turbo Cabriolet. Strangely enough, it has a 1.5 litre turbo engine, which does not seem to be listed here. The closest thing here to our engine would seem to be the b6t turbo engine.

As far as I know it is a 16v engine, but as I said, it is not listed here. Any information that could be given about this motor would be very handy indeed.

Regarding the Familia Infini

[edit]

I removed the Infini trim line from the b6t section, as the Familia Infini never had a b6t engine. It was equipped with a BP-ZE from factory. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.91.78.3 (talk) 23:28, 18 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And not all GTX were 4wd as stated here, as my original 1988 323 GTX is a FWD turbo baconson@tpg.com.au —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.243.213.231 (talk) 02:46, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Engine info for sixth gen isn't correct

[edit]

I have a US '94 Protege. The BP engine used in this model is a 1.8L SOHC, not DOHC. I can plainly see the 'BP' stamped on the block, and the Haynes manual also lists it by VIN as a BP engine. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.197.84.88 (talk) 02:51, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I know 10 years old, but the 1.8 Sohc came in the car and the 1.8L DOHC came in the car, there were 2 options, 103hp for the Sohc, and 127 for the 1.8 Dohc, had both of the cars. 50.21.193.152 (talk) 12:42, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
