Okay, in casual speech and probably derived in the 80s is the term "Maynard". Calling someone Maynard, as in "Good job, Maynard!" Where did this come from? I used that term to someone, someone from Argentina who I'm sort of teaching English and American slang to, and he asked what it means. I was stumped...I sincerely couldn't remember exactly where it came from, what it means and how to explain it. Any thoughts?
- ive seen it on a box of cream of wheat or something,it had a frog i think with a talk bubble that said 'Good Stuff,Maynard'
