McKenzie vs. MacKenzie
[edit]Regarding the recent edits to change McKenzie to MacKenzie. The plaque at the entrance to the town uses the spelling McKenzie. Also, if one googles William MacKenzie's history, you will find that both spellings abound; even within a single historic article documenting McKenzie's life. Given that the plaque at the town's entrance uses the Mc spelling, I believe that this article should also use that spelling (or at least acknowledge the variation in spelling). I must also add that in Canada's 1901 census, the entry for his family uses the MacKenzie spelling. See http://data2.collectionscanada.ca/1901/z/z003/pdf/z000120543.pdf Christopher Rath (talk) 03:28, 2 October 2014 (UTC)

Old Maymont School House
[edit]The original Maymont one-room school house is on display at the North Battleford branch of the Western Development Museum; however, although I've seen it with my own eyes and have some photos, I can't find a reference to it on the web. If someone can find a supportable reference then it would be nice to add that fact to this page (along with the supporting reference). Christopher Rath (talk) 11:47, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
