Gumball 3000 paragraphs
[edit]I moved these two paragraphs about the Gumball 3000 from the article to here. I guess they could go into Gumball 3000, but I don't think they do anything explain the topic of this article. What do you think? --Zippy (talk) 01:31, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
- The Gumball 3000 Rally is an annual motor event that attracts many participants from the world of celebrity, arts, business, politics and sport. Past participants have included [Daryl Hannah], [Billy Zane], [Jodie Kidd], [Martine McCutcheon], [Jason Priestly], Johnny Knoxville and the rest of the [Jackass] boys, [Tony Hawk], [Kate Moss], [Damon Hill], [Vic Reeves], [Danni Minogue], [Ruby Wax], [Goldie], [Matthew McConaughey], [Rachel Hunter], [Adrien Brody], as well as Saudi Sheiks, Kuwaiti Princes, leading US and European business men and Russian Oligarchs.
- It is in its 11th Year and has travelled many ground-breaking routes and attempted things no other event of its kind has endeavoured. Most famously in 2008 the Gumball 3000 Rally's 200 participants were invited by the North Korean Government to visit the DPRK and attend their National Annual festival of Art and Sports; The Mass Games which, in recent years, have become the main attraction of the Arirang Festival in Pyongyang. They take place to celebrate national holidays such as the birthdays of rulers Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il.
