Maxi Rodriguez (soccer) → Maxi Rodriguez (American soccer) – WP:ASTONISH. Maxi Rodríguez, who plays the sport known in some countries as "soccer", is clearly the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, so I don't know why this minor player isn't further disambiguated. The name of the main Maxi Rodríguez is accented unlike the minor one, but most English-language media and even fewer English-language Internet users know that, or care. The main Maxi Rodríguez played for Argentina at three World Cups, and played for famous clubs such as Liverpool and Atlético Madrid. It is not stretching the imagination at all that the "soccer"-following public in North America, Australia etc. are thinking of that Maxi Rodríguez more than this one. 81.79.141.206 (talk) 12:51, 13 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
