"multiplayer"
" noted that, similar to other story-based shooter video games, Max Payne's multiplayer experience lacked the atmosphere of the single-player mode".
There was no multiplayer in max payne 2. What was the reviewer smoking? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.2.129.216 (talk) 13:58, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
Characters / plot giveaways
The character descriptions are not the place to give away plot secrets. This should be done in the "Plot" section. It is unfair to people who have not played the game to see the story's main villain and plot given away so casually in the "Characters" section of the article.
- Wikipedia does not concern itself with spoilers. I just finished this game the other day, I stayed away from this article until then. Lots42 (talk) 10:09, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Plot uncertainity
I don't understand why Vladimir Lem's cleaners killed Vladimir Lem's employee Annie Finn in the first level. Why did Vlad order that hit? And why was Mona there? Dyakson

Address Unknown
Why was everything on address unknown removed? It used to have its own article but was later merged with this one. Searching for it redirects here but there is no mention of it in the article. It's a fairly important part of the game, surely it should at least get a mention. Ste0 sig 23:15, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- It's only important in the fact that it's part of the game. Shouldn't be added if you can't have sources about it. ♣ Klptyzm Chat wit' me § Contributions ♣ 04:14, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Bullet-Time
In the first part of the game, bullet time actually increased Max's firing rate for some weapons, e.g. colt-commando. 78.141.119.125 01:43, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
- It does that the whole game. When you get kills in bullet time, you move faster and, naturally, fire faster. It's nothing special. ♣ Klptyzm Chat wit' me § Contributions ♣ 04:12, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
critical reception/awards section
How about it? Most other games have one.Kansaikiwi 07:26, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
- Find sources for it and then you can add it. ♣ Klptyzm Chat wit' me § Contributions ♣ 04:13, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
Inconsistancy
In the lead, it says that Mona shoots Winterson, but in the plot section, it says that Max does. --PresN 17:34, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for pointing that out; fixed in the lead. Max kills Winterson because Winterson was looking for Mona, a fugitive. Gary King (talk) 18:42, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
- Not looking, more like 'was going to murder'. Lots42 (talk) 12:41, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
Unless you live under a rock, you should know the Take-Two annouced that they were making a sequel to Max Payne 2. So why isn't anyone adding this to the article? Someone do it! GamerPro64 (talk) 00:09, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- Added. It should be enough; any more mention should belong in that respective article. Gary King (talk) 00:35, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Bullet Time Description
"Similar to its predecessor, Max Payne 2 allows the player to enable Bullet Time, a mode that slows down time while allowing Max to move at a normal speed."
Thats kinda misleading.. If i remember correctly using bullet time slows you down too. Its just there to allow for quicker reactions.--92.18.72.30 (talk) 15:59, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah you're right, I changed it. Gary King (talk) 19:56, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
Reception section
Seems pointless to have a so long and detailed "Reception" section, most of it can probably be removed. Tchernobog (talk) 20:37, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
What?
The game includes a rudimentary co-op system that occasionally gives Max allies to back him up when in difficult situations.[5] Not in -my- copy of the game. Lots42 (talk) 12:40, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- Only on the Xbox using Xbox Live. Gary King (talk · scripts) 01:43, 20 November 2010 (UTC)
WHAT? No it does NOT. And the source article is talking about the few times the ex-cop and hooker AI back you up, it doesn't mention ANYTHING about online co-op. I'm removing this. 69.136.26.181 (talk) 11:21, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
Plot Inaccuracies
There are a couple of problems with the plot entry. Everything in the first paragraph is way off. The whole hospital scene actually is about halfway through the game's story chronologically only after finding Winterson's body in the morgue does the game jump back to the beginning of the story. Also Bravura doesn't die and if you play through the game on the hardest difficulty Mona also survives. One more nitpick is that there is no mention in the Max Payne 2 of Alfred Woden needing the wheelchair because of an injury in the first game. He got up and walked away unscathed in the first game. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gearzero (talk • contribs) 16:01, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
