Max on Boxing

[edit]

Please add a section about his original public access cable TV show: Max on Boxing. Man, that show was great! Here are some references to get you started:

Please add that Mr. Kellerman was graduated from Columbia with a history degree.

Move to WFAN

[edit]

There's nothing confirmed but there are rumors out there that he might move to WFAN. Unless his buyout says otherwise it's most likely going to happen. See the article below. http://www.nypost.com/seven/03112009/sports/moresports/francesa__kellerman_would_be_ego_mania_159033.htm —Preceding unsigned comment added by Metfan722 (talkcontribs) 03:14, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'd rather get something more concrete before adding it. harlock_jds (talk) 16:28, 12 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kellerman made his national ESPN Radio debut in August 2020 with The Max Kellerman Show — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:243:CC80:1F90:9504:D241:B37A:4260 (talk) 18:14, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sports broadcasting section needs updating

[edit]

This article is currently semi-protected. My account does not have the ability to make changes.

The end of the second to last paragraph of the Sports broadcasting section, after: " Kellerman has replaced Skip Bayless on ESPN's First Take as co-analyst alongside Stephen A. Smith and host Molly Qerim, effective July 25, 2016.[8]" should be updated.

Kellerman has since left ESPN's First Take and now is the "Host of “THIS JUST IN” weekdays on ESPN. Host of “Keyshawn, JWill, and Max” mornings on ESPN Radio." according to his verified Twitter bio: https://twitter.com/maxkellerman

Thank you all.

CHANGE: He believes that Roger Maris should still be considered the single-season home run record holder at 61 because of steroid accusations towards players such as Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, and Sammy Sosa.[18]

TO: He believes that Roger Maris should have been considered the single-season home run record holder at 61 [until Aaron Judge hit his 62nd home run of the season on October 4, 2022] because of steroid accusations towards players such as Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, and Sammy Sosa.[18] Morgan David (talk) 04:46, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the tweet that the editors are analysing. M.Bitton (talk) 15:32, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's not clear to me at all that we can attribute this belief to him based on the tweet. The current text of the article seems a bit of a stretch if that's the only source. Thoughts? @M.Bitton Also, I'm closing the request until we figure this out, as per WP:EDITXY. Actualcpscm (talk) 18:08, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Actualcpscm: it seems like too much of stretch to me, if not WP:OR. M.Bitton (talk) 18:15, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@M.Bitton Turns out, the entire Sports Opinions subsection was unsourced, with multiple CN tags. Nothing potentially defamatory, but I've removed it in accordance with WP:BOLP. Actualcpscm (talk) 18:18, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Actualcpscm: I agree, it doesn't look like there was anything worth salvaging. M.Bitton (talk) 18:38, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In the sentence referring to Kellerman’s time on Around the Horn and Sportsnation, the word “incarnation” should be replaced with “inception”. Brownep24 (talk) 21:02, 21 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
