Max Figman early career
[edit]Max Figman (born 1866 in Vienna) ... "made his stage debut at 17 in A Scrap of Paper (1883). He later joined the company of Willie Edouin in Fun in a Photographic Gallery."
Those two works have English-language titles. Elsewhere we say "Willie Edouin (1846–1908) was an English comedian ... and theatre manager. ...// Edouin returned to England in 1884" (from America).
Did Figman begin his acting career in English-language? in Austria, England, or America?
