A fact from Max Deutsch appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 15 January 2016 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Max Deutsch intentionally destroyed his compositions so that his only surviving legacy would be his students?
This article should not be speedy deleted as lacking sufficient context to identify its subject, because... subject is an important modern composer, including symphonies and film scores, and an important Music teacher. Is WP:GNG notable. 7&6=thirteen (☎)20:54, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Max Deutsch French Wikipedia has a substantially more complete article than the English Wikipedia, which demonstrates clearly that this article can (and should be) expanded and not deleted. 7&6=thirteen (☎)21:41, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The aborted attempt to reinsert the Speedy deletion template after I removed it is contrary to policy, to wit: WP:Speedy deletion. Moreover, by removing the template I acted within my rights as an editor who was not the creator of the article, and this action is not limited to WP:Administrators. 7&6=thirteen (☎)15:06, 27 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
