being curious about dubious artistic dating
[edit]its already assumed that all statues with realistic depictions would be mauryan/ ashokan and similar artistic styles from mauryan period, while ptaliputra was established way before mauryan dynasty when ajratashatru moved his capital to patna. There is atleast one pre mauryan die struck fifth cen BC saurashtra coin dated to 450-300 BCE which closely resembles this one mauryan artistic style not to mention this also resembles one spear thrower statue from the indus valley civilization
