Fair use rationale for Image:Invitational.jpg
[edit]Image:Invitational.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This can't be true
[edit]How can 53 of 69 NCAA champions have been Maui participants, when the tournament has been going on for only 23 years. I mean, the only way that stat makes sense is if it is saying that of the 69 NCAA champions ever, 53 of them have taken part in one of the 23 Maui Invitationals - which makes the stat meaningless.129.74.116.34 129.74.116.34 (talk) 20:35, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
You're reading that wrong. There have been 69 NCAA champions, and 53 of those schools who won participated in the Maui tourney at some point.70.176.52.96 (talk) 22:24, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
There's really no point in saying, "of the 69 NCAA champions, 53 of them have participated in the Maui invitational at some point," no matter how it is phrased. That's a completely pointless stat. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.115.217.67 (talk) 14:20, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
Split
[edit]Support: It's probably easier to move each tournament to its own page. The caveat being each page would need to have a decent write up for each game and whatnot. Essentially, it needs more than simply the tournament bracket. Shootmaster 44 (talk) 08:09, 23 October 2009 (UTC)
Support - Probably want to start making new pages for each of the tournaments (i.e., 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009...going all the way back). RonSigPi (talk) 01:45, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Seeds
[edit]There should not be seeds on the brackets. Maui has never seeded its participants.70.176.52.96 (talk) 22:34, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
