- I will review this shortly. Albacore (talk) 11:59, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
- Houston Astros (2010-2012) need an ndash as used for the Giants in the infobox.
- He currently plays for the New Orleans Zephyrs of the Pacific Coast League. MOS discourages the use of "currently", try {asof|2013}}, which produces As of 2013[update].
- Previously, he has played for the San Francisco Giants and the Houston Astros. has to had since this is in past tense.
- Overuse of the serial comma in the lead.
- Please find other sources to use than Twitter.
Reading over the article, I am considering failing on the grounds of 1a and 3a, per the Wikipedia:Good article criteria. The prose could use a thorough copyedit, and certain sections on Downs are lacking, such as the college career. The 2006 team won the SEC championship but this isn't mentioned. See [1] and [2]. Did Downs contribute to the SEC championship? The prose in the article isn't clear or concise; for instance, the word "got" is both overused and informal. The "tied for ninth" or "tied for sixth" aspects of the prose are insignificant, and should be cut (above fifth in my mind is OK). Copyedit the article, try to remove some wordiness, add more on his time at Alabama, and get back to me. Albacore (talk) 14:40, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
- Only one last caveat, where did he play outfield? I don't see a mention of that. Albacore (talk) 16:29, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
- Pass. Albacore (talk) 16:44, 16 May 2013 (UTC)
