Filmography
[edit]The filmography just contains TV show appearances. Is there a better word for this? Bandanamerchant (talk) 18:26, 1 May 2012 (UTC)

TV Presenter AND Commentator?
[edit]Baker has commentated on the Gymnastics at FOUR Olympics so far, so should he be described as "TV presenter and commentator"? best, 82.46.164.90 (talk) 11:05, 1 August 2021 (UTC)

Matt Baker (presenter) → Matt Baker – This page was originally at Matt Baker before being moved in 2007 for being a "niche British TV person". The presenter is the primary topic for presenting shows such as The One Show, Countryfile and Blue Peter. The presenter also gets more than 10 times more views than the next most viewed Matt Baker. - Oppose. There are 12 men listed upon the Matthew Baker disambiguation page, with no indication that the renown of the British television and radio personality is so far-reaching throughout the entire English-speaking world that it overwhelms the combined notability of the other 11 men. The issue under discussion here is tangentially related to the RM at Talk:Mathew Baker#Requested move 22 February 2022 in that the name "Mathew Baker" is nominated to serve alongside "Matt Baker" as a redirect to the Matthew Baker disambiguation page. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 00:48, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
- Leaning support. Despite the commonness of both name elements, the proposed primary topic does get massively more traffic than all other topics combined, more than 90% of total views over the long term. I also find it significant that this primacy trends even higher if only titles squarely including "Matt Baker" are included. BD2412 T 07:05, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support Overwhelming primary topic by page views as presented by the nominator, nothing to add. People are clearly seeking the presenter here. Jovanmilic97 (talk) 10:31, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
