Surname Lists
[edit]I am not sure that this is the appropriate place for the long lists of surnames. Does anyone have any ideas here?...--Agrofe 19:41, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Importance
[edit]I am not realy sure how imporatnce works with Wikipedia but for Nicaragua, Central America and many coffee and chocolate consuming countries, Matagalpa is of very high importance. It also was a strategic (and unfortunately brutalized) region in Nicargaua during the 1980s. This is a very important city and department. Any thoughts from anyone?... --Agrofe 14:25, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
Indian?
[edit]I assume it is considered inappropriate to call indigenous Central American people "Indians". It could be that they use an equivalent Spanish word to describe them selves, but even in that case it does not seem right to refer to them this way in English. I am no expert though so I have not edited it it and would welcome other opinions. Billlion (talk) 11:26, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
Tourist website?
[edit]I deleted this a reference to matagalpanicaragua.net, which it was claimed was an official tourist website. It is in Spanish and I am not sure how useful or official it is. Billlion (talk) 08:04, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
