White guys.

[edit]

Why are white people known as "Mat Salleh" in Malaysia? Ryan Albrey (talk) 10:07, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I also would like to know the history behind this. --Hamster X (talk) 15:11, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article reassessed and graded as start class. --dashiellx (talk) 17:39, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There used to be an even bigger article but now no more. Now it is nothing and certainly downgrade the accomplishments of the greates t rebel in Malaysia, if not in South East Asia. Buckley's book, School History of Sabah is much better and closer to the truth.

With such a high possibility of vandalism in wikipedia, I'm reluctant to contribute anything but refering to Buckley is sufficient for you to know the military accomplishment of Mat Salleh in South East Asia.
