Personally I think they are both valid, as they have major differences.

As long as they have links to each other, you can either chose to read about 'Gas' in more detail (and will become more detailed as more people add to it), or 'Mat P Jarvis', which also has details about other projects he is involved in.

It also stops the pages becoming too long, breaking them into smaller chunks.

Thanks

  • Its the same guy, so I disagree that there are "major differences" that can't be discussed in a single article. Centralized content makes it much easier to edit information on both subjects at the same time. As it is now, there is a lot of duplicated content. When the article approaches 40k or so, then we'll talk about splitting the article up. It would be like having two separate articles for Prince and The Artist Formerly Known as Prince - sure they're different names and did different music, but it was still the same guy. I'll put in a request at WP:THIRD to get an additional opinion if you would like to here what another editor thinks. Wickethewok 13:57, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So what about the other Gas album that wasn't released? What happened to the songs? Will we ever be able to hear them? Whats his next work on? Is he still creating great music? HELP!!! AHHH! heheh Jtflood1976 16:13, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Jtflood1976[reply]

The image Image:Gas0095b.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.
