Diacritic
[edit]Hallo J. Patrick Fischer, thanks for creating the article on him. I believe that his name should be written without the diacritic, though. All sources I could find, either in Portuguese or in Tetum, write his name as "Matias". The only place where it's written Matías is on Facebook, but that may be just a personal stylization. IMHO, the article should follow the spelling found in the more authoritative sources (including those already present in the article). Regards, —capmo (talk) 13:50, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hello capmo, you are right. Portuguese and Tetum are spelling "Matias". I can not explain, why Mr. Matías Boavida is using this spelling for his facebook account. Mr. Boavida has seen his articles and even has sent to me his CV. In his CV he is using "Matias". I guess, it would be not wrong to change to "Matias Boavida". --J.
