Requested move
[edit]Misyaf Castle → Misyaf Castle – An IP editor attempted to move this page using cut/paste method, with an explanation of moved page Masyaf Castle to Misyaf Castle: According to the pronunciation in Arabic. I have reverted this. Maybe an admin could perform this this move in the correct manner.-- Marek.69 talk 06:54, 18 January 2013 (UTC)

"In Popular Culture"
[edit]There should be a mention of Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed: Revelations and how Masyaf Castle is mentioned in both of these games. JessicaSideways (talk) 11:08, 6 April 2014 (UTC)
- It's makes sense to mention in the game articles the link with Masyaf Castle, but why should it be mentioned here? How has it influenced how the castle is understood? Nev1 (talk) 19:32, 7 April 2014 (UTC)
- There is a link to the game in the See also section. Given that the castle in the game has almost nothing to do with the real castle, except the name and a little bit of its backstory, I would say that will suffice. --Zoeperkoe (talk) 05:42, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
- I'm inclined to agree that a link in the see also section is enough. Nev1 (talk) 17:55, 8 April 2014 (UTC)

Name as Masyad
[edit]Hello, I see Arminden first added "Masyad" as a name, then UltinateZX renamed it to the duplicate of "Masyaf". But I can't find Masyad so I temporarily removed it. All other "sources" cite the Wikipedia snippet. Maqdisi (talk) 16:59, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
