cleanup?
[edit]So does this article still needs the big "cleanup" sign on top of it? it's there now for more than a year, and in the mean time it has grown a lot, got some sections and changes, infoboxes etc... so maybe it is time to release it from this sign. it will look nicer ;)
btw not sure if this is a stub any longer either... Donny 22:45, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- removed the cleanup tag. the article is a lot better than when tagged, and is well enough organized. if anybody dissagreas, please do tell me. Donny 16:38, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan.jpg
[edit]The image Image:The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
- That this article is linked to from the image description page.

LYRICS?
[edit]I suggest a global change in Wikipedia that whenever a song has a page, the song lyrics be included. What the heck is more important than the lyrics?? Searching those out across the internet inevitably throws into the face of the researcher many links to ad-ridden, pop-up pockmarked, websites. Readers need clean, unfettered information and that's why wikipedia is my 'supplier' of choice. Lyrics, please. Theaternearyou (talk) 21:43, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
- Not possible, because the lyrics of songs are generally under copyright, and nothing in WP is under copyright. The circle cannot be squared. --Richhoncho (talk) 22:04, 3 April 2011 (UTC)
Pete Seeger cover in Japan in 1963
[edit]Could someone add the Pete Seeger cover in Japan in 1963? It is surely the most signifcant, Seeger was blacklisted and included a Japanese translation.
Anyone know the place and date?

- Hey@EdRicardo, just added a paragraph about the Cover. It Includes information on:
- - Seegers involvement with the anti-war movement and Dylan
- - His activism against japanese American internment camps and blacklisting
- - His wife's japanese-american heritage

Cover versions
[edit]On the 2-CD accompaniment to the documentary "Body of War" is a live cover by Pearl Jam of this song (disc 2, track 2). Should this be included with the other covers of "Masters of War", or is this the same recording that was done a few years earlier and is already listed?Jtyroler (talk) 08:42, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
