The result of the proposal was move the page from "Friar Francke" to Master Francke, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 04:23, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
Propose renaming to Meister Francke, now a redirect, with 26,800 ghits against 41 for "Friar Francke", mostly devived from this article. Johnbod (talk) 00:46, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- Grove Dictionary of Art uses Master Francke. Meister appears to be NHG, modernized from the contemporary Low German Mester; including English search terms suggests that some 23,000 of those raw Google hits are not in English, presumably mostly in German. - Ok, so does the Getty Name List, so I will amend the request, although I must say I am more used to Meister. "Master Francke" has only 3,530 ghits, so is still only about level with Meister in English. Johnbod (talk) 15:25, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
- Either looks better than Friar. Septentrionalis PMAnderson 15:30, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
