Say What?
[edit]"Masiakasaurus knopfleri was named after musician Mark Knopfler, who's music inspired expedition crews". What exactly does this mean? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dinolover45 (talk • contribs) 16:12, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
- In fact, it's an exact citation from the original article of founders: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/12123798_A_bizarre_predatory_dinosaur_from_the_Late_Cretaceous_of_Madagascar $tatic (talk) 22:27, 21 March 2020 (UTC)

front teeth - bone scraping?
[edit]Could they stand up to stripping flesh off of a carcass during scavenging? I tried some searching with various terms, but nothing popped up ... which means nothing, there could be a paper or tome out there speculating. Any decent RS's? 50.111.44.55 (talk) 09:20, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
The host of the live action segments of the children's show Dinosaur Train mentioned the fact that he named Masiakasaurus
[edit]If you've watched Dinosaur Train, you're familiar with Scott Sampson because he hosted the live action intermission segments of Dinosaur Train where he teaches the audience facts about the dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals, on the Masiakasaurus episode, he mentions the fact that he was the one who named Masiakasaurus. 73.45.187.124 (talk) 23:50, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Point of fact… Way to go Dr. Scott! 73.45.187.124 (talk) 23:52, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
