All this information is copied wholesale from the school's website. Editorial bias?

Advertising Material

While I think we can all appreciate the efforts to make the article non-POV and free of advertising, I felt like a fine tooth comb approach might serve it a little better. I restored the deleted material and have tried to excise anything that might be construed as advertising while still retaining some information on campus buildings. I did remove all description of the various residence halls as that seemed to be right out of the campus brochure. Thoughts and comments would be appreciated as ideally I'd like to reach a consensus on what belongs here and ultimately remove the advertisement tag.-Tomdobb 12:36, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Copyright and NPOV violations in History section

I'm sorry, but I've had to delete the entire History of the University section because it's lifted right out of here:

That's a blatant copyright violation. And even if the university's okay with that, taking text from the university's own web page clearly violates WP:NPOV, as evidenced by all the unencyclopedic peacock words in that text. I agree that the article could use a history section, though not one as detailed as the one from the university's webpage. If you're concerned about this article (and don't work for the university!), I would encourage you to write a somewhat shorter, originally worded, encyclopedic section to replace the one I've deleted. The above URL could be cited as a reference, though neutral sources would be better.Jbening (talk) 16:43, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
