Birthdate of Mary Duke Biddle Trent Semans
[edit]I have made this edit after contacting the Duke Endowment, to both offer my condolences and in order to make this inquiry. I would be very surprised if it were the wrong date, since this was my source. She was very active, right up to the end, in the operation of this endowment. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EnglishHornDude (talk • contribs) 20:51, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Rewrite on 12/02/2013
[edit]I completely rewrote, now around five times longer, with family background as well. Still looking for good pictures that I'm able to put up. --Nitsuaeekcm (talk) 08:59, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
Problematic last sentence.
[edit]"More than just showing humility, this shows Mary Semans as she truly was: a lady who spent her entire life and fortune trying to help the world the best way she knew how."
Sorry but in my opinion that's over-the-top editorializing. "Just the facts," as they say. This is an opinion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.127.82.225 (talk) 04:29, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
