Paul Westerberg's sister?
[edit]"Lucia is the younger sister of The Replacements front man Paul Westerberg[1]."
Why is this sentence always being removed? Is she not the younger sister of Paul Westerberg? There seems to be plenty of refs for this fact and she is listed as such on Westerberg's page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.122.47.236 (talk) 18:35, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Perhaps she herself removed it, since she doesn't identify herself as such on-air. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Recurve7 (talk • contribs) 15:30, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
- That's not a valid justification for removing information from Wikipedia. If information is noteworthy and properly sourced, there are very few legitimate reasons for it to be justified to redact. I haven't seen any such justification here. I'm sure that say, Elton John doesn't go around telling people that his birth name was "Reginald Kenneth Dwight", but regardless, that information appears in his WP article, because it's noteworthy and properly sourced. To obviate the necessity of any future removal of this piece of information, an article regarding Mary Lucia's reading of an audiobook on The Replacements, her relationship to Paul Westerberg being clearly stated and discussed therein: http://www.startribune.com/mary-lucia-provides-a-familiar-voice-for-replacements-audiobook-trouble-boys/427060211/ Ashiyura (talk) 02:10, 1 December 2018 (UTC)
Newton, Massachusetts?
[edit]What's the source on her being from Newton, Mass? Considering her entire family is from Minnesota (including her very famous brother who founded one of the bands who is an icon of Minneapolis music history!) I would be very surprised if this was actually true! There's a whole story in the Replacements book about how her parents met and they are both Minnesotans and they appeared to have lived in Minnesota their entire lives, so I'm confused how that part came to be stated as fact. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.230.229.162 (talk) 15:40, 9 September 2024 (UTC)
