  • Try to add a side info box with a picture (if possible) and some basic information such as date born/ died and where she lived
  • “chaired the data descriptions subcommittee the Short-Range Committee” is somewhat difficult to follow
  • I don’t love the sentence opening “As of 1954…”, It seems to suggest that the action is still ongoing.

I'm fairly sure that Hawes was born Mary Louise Kropp on 25 January 1910 and died 17 November 1994.
