Hi Rosguill, apologies for all of the questions recently. I can't see this meeting the criteria at WP:MILPEOPLE, but please could you take a look? I see that she directed the Women's Royal Army Corps, but do you think that it is enough to be notable? Thanks, Willbb234Talk (please {{ping}} me in replies) 08:28, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Willbb234, hm, yeah I agree that I don't see anything that meets WP:MILPEOPLE––it's not clear how important assistant provost marshals of the WRAC are. While there is someone named Mary Anderson listed as a director at the WRAC article, it's not clear that this is the same person. If we have citations claiming that this subject was the director, I think that should probably be seen as a likely indicator of notability, on the strength of the amount of biographies we have for other past directors.
A further complication in reviewing this is the article in The Times––I don't have access to anything other than the first paragraph, so it's hard for me to judge the quality of coverage. It looks like an obituary, which is often non-independent coverage, but The Times is a reputable enough publication that even an obituary may comprise significant independent coverage. But, without being able to read over the whole article, I can't judge. signed, Rosguill talk 17:18, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
