role in Taj Mahal carbon dating?
[edit]The article Taj_Mahal:_The_True_Story credits Miller with the controversial carbon dating. If this is accurate, it should be added here (but it ought to be confirmed first.) WarrenA 18:53, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Flood
[edit]How can there be a section in this article about Miller helping usher in Free Agency that doesn't mention Curt Flood once? Especially since the senile old prick made up a story about Stan Musial being a racist because his restaurant wouldn't serve Flood, which was later proved to be 100% false. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.189.69.184 (talk) 22:30, 23 April 2012 (UTC) The section on Curt Flood is written entirely from the point of view of Curt Flood, it is not encyclopedic in tone.John Paul Parks (talk) 23:12, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
The section on Curt Flood is still inappropriate, because it attempts to give Flood greater credit than he deserves. Flood's judicial action failed. He did not "open the gates" to the end of the reserve clause. What ended the reserve clause was the availability of an arbitration procedure that did not have the Commissioner of Baseball or his representative in charge of the deciding vote on the arbitration panel, and it is Miller, not Flood, who was responsible for that.John Paul Parks (talk) 15:52, 20 August 2017 (UTC)
Rearrangement needed
[edit]- Personal
The short personal biography should follow the lead as section 1, not follow "Honors and awards" as section n.
- Hall of Fame
Miller's candidacy has been of such high profile during the last decade, some of this detail should be part of our coverage of the Hall of Fame selection process. Here we might quantify the numbers of management people in the 2003? electorate and 2007 committee, rather than identify all the committee members. Here we might "hatlink" the Hall of Fame section to a section of some Veterans Committee article, or some annual election article.
