Feedback from New Page Review process
[edit]I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: I did both AFC and NPP review. The article still has many prose/wording problems. I'm passing it because IMO it meets the standards for existence in mainspace (where it can be improved) despite having those issues. Happy editing!

Perpetrator of crime
[edit]WP:PERPETRATOR advises that: "A person who is known only in connection with a criminal event or trial should not normally be the subject of a separate Wikipedia article if there is an existing article that could incorporate the available encyclopedic material relating to that person." and that: "A living person accused of a crime is presumed not guilty unless and until the contrary is decided by a court of law. Editors must give serious consideration to not creating an article on an alleged perpetrator when no conviction is yet secured." This requirement is more demanding than a living person notable for one event. In this case, the information in this article could be incorporated into the article about a No-knock warrant, where there is already an entry for this case and that of Hank Magee, who does not have an article, as examples. Additionally, this article is currently an orphan. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 08:12, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
Lead section has extra information
[edit]This article's lead section claims "The case of Marvin Louis Guy is Bell County's longest unresolved capital murder case." Yet the body of the article provides no additional information to support that claim, such as a comparison with how long other cases have taken to resolve in the county, or what the next longest running case is. If this is really the most important thing that makes this person notable, then it needs a lot more explanation. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 08:59, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- The lead section concerns have been addressed. Mbcoats (talk) 01:09, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
