Spelling

[edit]

This article concerns the comic book series and the series' title is spelled with the archaic spelling with the "K" on the end. [1] Consequently, I have moved the page's name back to that spelling. However, now we have a redirect from the modern spelling as well, so we have the best of both worlds. --GentlemanGhost 23:57, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There's also a question over the spelling of the name of Johnny Storm's alter-ego. It's currently in the article as "Johnathan Storm", but this is an unlikely spelling. Marvel.com lists it on various pages as "Jonathan" and "Jonathon". This should be corrected by someone who has access to the source material. 86.7.21.237 (talk) 00:26, 7 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Namor's Name a Reference to Tolkien's Numenor?

[edit]

Has there been any sourcing corroborating Numenor's inspiration as a name to Tolkien's land of the same name?
