[edit]I don't get it, why would the III Reich persecute in any way Nazi sadist while the regime itself was involved in killings of millions? Why would the 'legal' law system even care about abuse of system by their own people ?! Wasn't Sommer a creation of the same system which persecuted him...?
Contradictory biographic information between German and English article
[edit]The German article maintains he was taken prisoner by the US army while this English version claims he was a POV in Russia. There is a comment from 2010 on the German article's talk page, and this should be corrected sooner than later. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.224.86.19 (talk) 11:15, 9 April 2013 (UTC)
Unlikely story
[edit]Commandant Koch was executed on the orders of Konrad Morgen for the murder of a few people. It is very unlikely that Sommer would get a much lighter sentence if he had engaged in the crimes described here. I am therefore very curious where exactly Morgen has written about these sadistic practices. It sounds like prisoner hearsay. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.64.56.29 (talk) 09:29, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
