[edit]The contents of the Wappenbuch of Martin Schrot (1576) is largely copied from the Chronicle of the Concilium Constantiense, 1414-1418, by Ulrich Richental, of which there are several manuscripts extant,or from one of the printed editions, e.g. Anton Sorg (1483), reprinted 1921. Many of the items may also be found in the Wappenbüchlein of Virgil Solis (1555), reprinted 1974 by Verlag Degener & Co, Neustadt an der Asch. From there many arms have found their way into the Siebmacher standard reference volumes.Mabinogion (talk) 16:39, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
