Loss of his mother
[edit]In the 2008 section it should be mentioned that Kaymer suffered the loss of his mother to illness during the season. Catchpole (talk) 12:13, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
Career Record
[edit]Not wanting to get involved in an edit war, so can someone explain why the "European Tour Professional Career Summary" doesn't include the tournament he played in 2006, on the ET, as a professional? EJBH (talk) 12:55, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Because he wasn't a European Tour member at the time – he was a rookie in 2007 after graduating from the Challenge Tour. He would have received a sponsors invite to the Deutsche Bank Players Championship of Europe in 2006. wjematherbigissue 20:13, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- But to my eyes, that's irrelevant for a box giving a professional career summary; any tournament on the Tour in which he played as a professional should be included. Consider it in terms of the "total" row: that states that he has played (at the time of typing) 70 tour-sanctioned tournaments as a professional, but he definitely hasn't. I think the equivalent PGA Tour box on Anthony Kim's page, with a "non-member" tag where applicable, is the way to go, personally. EJBH (talk) 00:25, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry for the delayed reply, by the way.
If he was born in Dec. 28, 1984 how could he have been 19 when he got his first professional win at the 2005 Central German Classic? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.226.169.61 (talk) 00:23, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
