[edit]If he was born in 1765 and died in 1844 that would make him 79 when he died not 58. 152.97.29.4 (talk) 02:19, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
His work writing The Diario of Christopher Columbus's First Voyage to America
[edit]According to this article, Navarrete had a large part in translating and editing Columbus' first journal. He updated much of the writing to be relevant and grammatically correct in the 1800s, and did so accurately given his naval experience. The article is cited here in another Wikipedia Article. Change to Infobox: Military Person
[edit]Propose to change info card from using the template "Infobox Scientist" to Infobox: Military Person as it allows space for more information about military career and later works. Also, Infobox Scientist specifically states, "fields Principal fields of work (physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, engineering, &c) not occupation (physicist...engineer)" which this article currently does.
