Tore down, etc
[edit]Note added: I last visited Marshall Hall in 2003. At that time many of the buildings I remember from my childhood in the 1950's were still present and recognizable. Most were in heavy use by the Montgomery County, Maryland, school system, for art projects and for art-oriented school outings. Much of the responsibility for this change was taken by the Montgomery County, Maryland, Arts Council. The grounds are open to visitors. User:ETOrdman
date of park
[edit]The available (verifiable) sources agree that the park was started in the 1880s, and that jousting as a park activity is no older than that (likely 1885). See for example

I have much info on this subject, and much of the info on Wikipedia about this subject is inaccurate. The sources you keep reverting back to regarding date of opening, and even the name of a ride in the NPS photo are wrong.
- The way forward is to provide reliable sources, which anyone can verify. Talkpage comments are not a reliable source, but solely useful as a means of discussing useful changes (and their sources). If there's no reliable source, the material can of course simply be deleted. TEDickey (talk) 02:11, 25 December 2015 (UTC)
