Stop posting unreferenced tags
[edit]Give some time for this article to develop. Allow other contributors to insert references. And stop being mean by qualifying this article for deletion 10 seconds after I opened it. Bosniak (talk) 23:34, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- Not a matter of being mean, its a matter that the first edit doesn't make a single claim of notability that qualifies under wp:bio. I don't know you, so it can't be personal. I would suggest in the future that you make sure the first edit at least makes a CLAIM of notability to avoid being tagged, or better yet, work up a short article in the sandbox BEFORE creating the article, with at least one claim and citation. This is considered the normal way to do new articles. Otherwise, the tag would stay unless an admin feels differently or I see you make a notability claim that was reasonable, then I would quickly remove it. PHARMBOY (TALK) 23:56, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- Ok, delete it. Bosniak (talk) 00:18, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- Was prodded, un-prodded, up for speedy, and there's a good faith effort from an established editor. Declining speedy - take to AfD if you disagree. -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 04:51, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
- Declined speedy when replaced. I am not convinced the original author seriously meant to remove the article. The appropriate thing to do is tot ry to improve the references. DGG (talk) 07:39, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
