This article might be getting large enough to be split into chapters soon. SteelyDave 18:35, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

There is a picture of him on the Estonian Wikipedia, but I'm unsure of it's protected or not. Someon e who can read Estonian might be able to add it. SteelyDave 18:51, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Inspiration

[edit]

I would just like to say that Markko Martin and Michael Parks were two of the best influences on me. These great men taught me integrety, Perseverance, and the values of being humble (not only in racing but in life). They were like the dynamic duo; two great buds that make a personality. Although It's been a Year since I've Seen Markko and Michael on TV; I still often wonder what Markko is doing. I've always harbored the notion that if your dreams get shattered by life's occurances or other's getting in the way...the best thing you can do is to "Get Back Up Each Time You Fall." Never Let Go of your Dreams Martin...Just make 'Em Bigger and Bolder and it will make you Stronger.

Shunt?

[edit]

I replaced 'shunt' with 'crash' to describe the rallying accident which killed Michael Park. Firstly and pedantically, a shunt is a rear end crash. Secondly 'shunt' is used in racing to describe the myriad accidents which are part of the game and which result in damage to the vehicle and possibly minor injuries. Its use is somewhat sardonic. It is out of place in a description of a fatal accident.Cross Reference (talk) 13:40, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
