My parents had a 1972 Chevrolet Caprice Wagon, and we never had the crack as described in the article, but this Olsonite Mfg. Co. manufactured crash-pad did seem to crack everywhere else, at both ends, at the speaker openings and adjacent to the speedo opening ... I originally looked for this page, after it occurred to me that I had not seen those words "Mark of Excellence" since I was a teen ... and wondered when GM actually gave up on the idea of excellence... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bobber100 (talk • contribs) 23:20, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
