On The Killers wiki article, it says it was their first drummer that claimed he wrote "Mr. Brightside". So which is it, the first drummer, or first bassist? --Bouyeeze 00:00, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My bad, the main Killers article has the correct information. Not this one. Kareeser|Talk! 03:58, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see how this is said in a story way, I think it's fine. Also, it was the first drummer that claimed he wrote Mr. Brightside.

needs sources like a motherfucker

Confusing family background.

[edit]

I'm close friends with his brother, who lives in Australia. What's the story with the family background here? His brothers never mentioned being born or growing up in the US, so I'm assuming they're step brothers? Or something? NFI. 210.49.15.52 (talk) 19:02, 21 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Everyone's close friends with his brother! I think they are step brothers, same father different mothers. You can see a similarity though, it's striking. Tell Kurt that his other brother from the nulla sends his love! 121.211.33.244 (talk) 14:39, 2 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

redirecting?

[edit]

Why is this redirecting to The Killers page? Ihavenoname42 (talk) 01:56, 13 October 2008 (UTC)ihavenoname42[reply]

Here is why.

Note that members of notable bands are redirected to the band's article, not given individual articles, unless they have demonstrated individual notability for activity independent of the band, such as solo releases. Members of two notable bands are generally notable enough for their own article.

So he gets his own page when he releases notable material with another band or as a solo artist. Otherwise it just becomes a fan page. Which would be interesting, but if you have one of those for every member of every band it effectively mean there is no notability criteria and that in turn would effect his band article. --➨Candlewicke  :) Sign/Talk 16:26, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Song examples?

[edit]

Anyone else think the examples where his bass playing style can be heard should be deleted? It's unnecessarily long, I've never seen it on any articles before and kind of looks unprofessional. Solitude6nv5 (talk) 19:55, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
