Notability requirement
[edit]Salomon meets the following criteria and is therefore notable according to the guidelines:
-- Has released two or more albums on a major record label or on one of the more important indie labels (i.e., an independent label with a history of more than a few years, and with a roster of performers, many of whom are independently notable).
His band Stavesacre released three albums plus a greatest-hits collection on the Tooth & Nail label, a long-running indie.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Glastonbury27 (talk • contribs) 21:23, 13 April 2015 (UTC)
- The guideline assumes that those are ways that a musician will have received press and meet WP:GNG. If that has not happened, it's not sufficient grounds for inclusion. With that said, he has not released two or more albums, his band has. That might mean that his band is notable, but it does not apply to all members of the band.
