Removing hoax/attack
Tasesq (talk) 04:59, 27 November 2010 (UTC) Not done: Not only will I not put up blatantly false/attack info, I'll warn you for attacking the biography of a living person. Qwyrxian (talk) 05:35, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
Good Weekend
[edit]In his column in the Good Weekend today, Mark Dapin has launched a "competition" to "hack" this page.--Jack Upland (talk) 08:05, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
- He dredged up the same tired topic today. I guess he must have writer's block. WWGB (talk) 04:08, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
- He is at it again in today's Good Weekend. --Bduke (Discussion) 06:18, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
- Makes for entertaining columns, though. --1.145.232.91 (talk) 07:33, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for your sole contribution to Wikipedia. Mark, is it? WWGB (talk) 10:27, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

So mark dapin claims in his column in good weekend saturday 5/3 that he is actually the australian number one sumo wrestler as no one else entered the compitition....may need checking but potentialy true? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.4.74.65 (talk) 12:03, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
- Do we really need this article? Is he really that significant?--Jack Upland (talk) 18:06, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Timeline
[edit]Came to Australia in 1989 and started at Ralph in 1988? I'm guessing one of these is wrong. Can't find a decent source, though. Doctorhawkes (talk) 07:15, 18 February 2011 (UTC)
- Ralph wasn't launched until 1997, at which time it was edited by Geoff Seddon. I don't know when Dapin worked there but it certainly wasn't 1988. Splorksplorksplorksplork (talk) 01:35, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Clearly a typo, Dapin's term should be 1998-2002, but I can't find a reference to support it. WWGB (talk) 06:15, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- Nor could I, but I've changed it anyway. Might have to read that book of his to get a source.Doctorhawkes (talk) 08:08, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
Bibliography
[edit]I have commenced a tidy-up of the Bibliography section using cite templates. Capitalization and punctuation follow standard cataloguing rules in AACR2 and RDA, as much as Wikipedia templates allow it. ISBNs and other persistent identifiers, where available, are commented out, but still available for reference. Feel free to continue. Sunwin1960 (talk) 06:00, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
