Article issues
[edit]Cannot find confirmation on the site of the University of Pisa (http://www.unipi.it/) that this person works there.--Morel (talk) 09:58, 8 September 2013 (UTC)
- Neither could I. The sentence about Pisa has been removed. I have cleaned the article a bit today, adding proper headings. Most of the article is based solely on primary sources. There is an obvious editing and editor pattern between Bridging Eastern & Western Psychiatry, the closely connected, newly created bios Maria Luisa Figueira and Mario Di Fiorino, as well as edits made in e.g. Davide Lazzeretti, Leonetto Amadei, Ganser syndrome, and Mind control. Attention to our policies on Secondary sources for WP:V is advised. Best, Sam Sailor Sing 15:37, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- He teaches a course in geriatric psychiatry at U of Pisa as of 2013, but as a professore a contratto (analogous to a Visiting Professor in the US). See [1]. However, I've not added this as it's not a key aspect of his biography. I've completely revamped and re-referenced this article, as half of it was basically cribbed from bios like this (verbatim in places), and the rest was off-topic padding/coatracking. My own view is that he is notable enough for an article here. Ditto Maria Luisa Figueira, which I have also re-written. But eyes need to be kept on the contributions from the red-linked editors in the histories of these articles. They all appear to be colleagues of the subject or connected to him in some way, and there was a clear drive to publicize his (and their) work on Wikipedia with various poorly referenced and somewhat garbled additions to articles relating to their fields of research.
