Help identifying portrait
[edit]I'm having some trouble identifying the subject of the portrait File:Marie-Anne Martinozzi (née Mancini), Duchess of Bouillon by Benedetto Gennari.jpg (right). NPG describes it as "Marie-Anne Martinozzi (née Mancini), Duchess of Bouillon| de la Marck (1646-1714), Niece of Cardinal Mazarin; famous beauty." Now, of all the Mazarinettes, only Marie Anne Mancini was ever Duchess of Bouillon, but did she ever bear the name Martinozzi? And she was born in 1649, not 1646. Can someone clarify this? Thanks. - Ah, never mind, the description of poisoning her husband matches and is enough evidence for me. Dcoetzee 05:06, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
