Translation errors?

[edit]

I'll be fixing the wrong pronouns where I see them, but I'm stymied by this phrase: "recorded as oriund from Saint-Germain-en-Laye" Does oriund mean "originating in?" Or something else? I can't find it as an English or a French word. Google Translate thinks it's Romanian and means "anywhere." There's a pervasive feel of translation awkwardness throughout the article, but these are the only bits I think are egregious. edit to add: a friend from elsewhere lead me to an online French dictionary which revealed that "oriundus" means "originating in." [1]. Is this the correct way to document this change? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lucy Kemnitzer (talkcontribs) 16:29, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
