Sunny side needs some paint....

Photos

[edit]

Added a photo; this is what you see from the railway track and it needs some paint and decorating. Get to it! What else would a teacher be doing during the endless summer break? Sarah777 (talk) 13:00, 31 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

School principal

[edit]

Maybe I'm misreading this, but is the principal Patrick Ward or Paul Meany?Autarch (talk) 16:20, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No. That's vandalism; Meany is the Head - I've added a reference - the College website. Sarah777 (talk) 18:49, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Distinguished past pupils

[edit]

Seeing as the article on Matthew and Owen Ennis was deleted under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion and pretty much fail to meet WP:NMUSIC, the Ennis twins don't seem to have achieved anything like as much notability as other past pupils listed on the Marian College page. Therefore it would seem sensible to remove them from the list.Autarch (talk) 20:48, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As a further point, both User:Thesongwriter9 (contributions) and User:89.100.88.49 (contributions) seem to have limited their edits to this article (with the possible exception of the above deleted article). Granted, both have a small number of edits, but I wonder if this is a case of WP:SPA?Autarch (talk) 14:46, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As there don't seem to be any objections so far, I've removed the Ennis twins from the article.Autarch (talk) 18:38, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To be consistent; we need a notability ref for "Louis Magee Immediate past-President of the Leinster Branch of the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU)" Sarah777 (talk) 00:50, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I removed everybody who didn't have an article, and tidied up the section a bit: alphabetized, consistent format, removed honorifics per our manual of style. If some of these folks I removed are notable, please provider proper wikilinks when you add them in. I also changed the title to "Notable", since not all notables are distinguished, and not all distinguished folks are notable by our standards. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:59, 29 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Brothers!

[edit]

Anyone put some references in so that we can remove that awful tag? Sarah777 (talk) 18:41, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
