This is a translation from French, so no help there. I would like to expand it since rebellion against the Belgian state would have been very brave. However. One issue is the fragmentation of the history (the various colonial administrations) and of the geography (is this DRC? Brazzaville?). It is to be expected that sources be a bit sparse since the official version of history would have carefully omitted her. I do think she is probably notable and more sources can be found if I search with a French-language browser. Meanwhile, I am not going to download the article but the preview for an apparently reliable source[1] tells us 1) the name means “of the leopard” since a leopard once failed to kill her and 2) she was, at least later in life, a farmer in “Lolifa”. This turns out to be a minor river near Mbandaka; presumably this means the valley in this context. Bottom line, I think she is notable and am willing to put in a little work on this.
