If an Olympic medalist died, especially one so young, there would be some kind of media report. Granted Kryuchkova wasn't a big name, but she is still an Olympic medalist. On the other hand, I'm inclined to believe it as Kharenkova's mother would know about it as they're also from Rostov-na-Don, and Kryuchkova's VK page has gone silent. But still some kind of report would/will come out confirming it one way or another.
