Upgrading the article

This article has a good basic structure. Its development requires relevant critical commentary (with citations) and an exploration of the deeper levels of Maria's role in the novel. There are gaps, particularly towards the end. Petrosbizar (talk) 21:06, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
