Self-Published Material
[edit]I'm a little baffled as to why this page is being challenged on the basis of "self-published" citations. All of the references are NOT self-published save the ones which link to Takano's home page, and I have seen the home page of an artist referenced many times throughout Wikipedia without any challenge at all. Moreover, the number of references to that page in the main article are relatively few; the rest come from print publications, of various kinds. Would it help if the articles were identified for what they are, i.e. record reviews versus scholarly publications, festschrifts etc? Mari Takano is an internationally renowned 21st century composer, and deserves to have an English language Wikipedia article.Pinikadia 21:42, 13 March 2011 (UTC)Pinikadia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pinikadia (talk • contribs)
