Typically
[edit]in a biography such as this, that person would be referred to by his or her last name. In this one Zorach's first name is mostly used. This is probably for several reasons. (1) for the first part of the the article she would be "Thompson" before she is married and "Zorach" afterwards, and (2) calling her "Zorach" might cause some confusion between her and her better known husband. None-the-less, I plan on changing the "Marguerites" to "Zorach throughout the article unless YOU (yes, you) offer a counter-argument. One might, for example, point out that Rubenstein, in her American Women Artists" calls her "Thompson" before she is married and "Marguerite Zorach" afterwards. Hmmmmmmm. She could be on to something. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 16:08, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
"She also completed two New Deal post office murals in Fresno, CA."
[edit]I'm not quite sure that this statement is accurate. I cannot locate (via Google) any mention of an existing full size painted mural in Fresno. There is a Study at the Smithsonian American Art Museum "watercolor and pencil on paper mounted on paperboard, (Recto): 18 x 8 in. (45.7 x 20.5 cm) sheet (Verso): 18 1/8 x 8 1/8 in. (45.9 x 20.5 cm). I think I should remove the mention of un-verified murals in Fresno. I will continue to research (as I hope others may). ```Buster Seven Talk 15:43, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
