The section on Rose's Bakery in Evanston should be amended to show that both locations have now closed. Yelp is reporting both locations closed [1][2]. Additional source:[3]; I have no other proof that the evanston location is closed, except for the fact that I saw so myself in person.165.124.129.186 (talk) 00:16, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request: Remove orphan; remove mention; addition of new section

Hello. I work for Marcus Lemonis and want to suggest changes to the article, and respect Wikipedia's conflict of interest policies.

  1. Remove source 23 as it is an orphaned link that is not used to substantiate any content.
  2. Remove the 3rd sentence in the Television section, according to WP:BLPCRIME.
  3. Warn User Sacrum Simonel to cease libelous, erroneous, and bias editing with Information icon Hello, I'm TrevoratMarcusLemonis.   4. Create a new Philanthropy section:

Lemonis founded the Lemon-AID Foundation in 2020. The foundation supports women and minority entrepreneurs as well as small businesses. Lemonis also founded the Business Learning Center, a virtual platform for resources and business tools for those struggling as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. [4] Lemonis's foundation is also responsible for the “Plating Change” initiative to combat food insecurity through a partnership with Grubhub and the World Central Kitchen. [5][6] Lemonis is also a supporter of his alma maters including Christopher Columbus High School [7] and Marquette University[8]. He also gives to children and the underserved, donating to foster care in CASA Lake County[9], St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, New Journey's Transitional Home, and Lincoln Park Zoo. [10] He has also been philanthropically involved with the Joffrey Ballet Bridge Program in the Chicago Public School system [11] and on behalf of the developmentally challenged.[12] In 2016-17, Lemonis launched a matching campaign to support the sports program at University of Miami. [13] After the 2020 Nashville bombing on Christmas day, Lemonis established a fund to support the business owners effected by the event.[14]

Hi. As discussed in the previous edit request, I've made some revisions and propose the following edits to the article:

  1. Revise the 3rd sentence of the Television section to comply with WP:NPOV, remove subjective detail ("nightmare stories"), and include inline citation: In August 2021, NBCUniversal, Machete, and Lemonis were accused of harmful business practices.[1]
  2. Add Philanthropy section:

Controversies Section

Hi. I appreciate the assistance you've provided to my colleague TrevoratMarcusLemonis who has made requests on the talk page as a COI editor. They have left the organization, so I would like to continue the conversation and raise one issue and request an edit.

  1. I would like to bring up a recurring issue on the page. The controversies section, twice reverted by editor Marquardtika for WP:UNDUE, has reappeared. I’m requesting attention to this problem and the deletion of the controversies section.
  2. I am requesting the addition of Marcus Lemonis’s recent philanthropic activity. Specifically, I am requesting two additions to the current philanthropy section:
  • A sentence at the end of the current philanthropy section saying: In 2021, Lemonis made a $1 million donation to God's Love We Deliver.[1]
  • Insertion of a subsection entitled Great American Tip Off. Suggested text: In December 2021, Lemonis launched "The Great American Tip Off" to acknowledge the work of service-industry employees. He and Amy Schumer left a $30,000 tip at the Comedy Cellar,[2] Lemonis gave $3.1 million to the staff of Christopher Columbus High School ($18,000 to each staff member),[3] and he made a $500,000 tip to the staff of God's Love We Deliver.[1]

The cited source doesn't state that his biological father was from Lebanon or anywhere else.
